EF Baotou

EF Baotou has been operating since 2009, we are an EF China Kids & Teens centre and teach students from the age of 3 to 18 years old. We take pride in the services we offer at EF Baotou, student learning and constant communication with parents are our main priorities to ensure our students and their parents are happy with the service they get. We are also proud of the student retention rate we have, which in EF China is one of the highest in the country, we were nominated at the 2014 EF National Conference as a school with best student retention.

The city of Baotou is in the province of Inner Mongolia, which is in the north of China. With the Yinshan mount range to the north, the grasslands and the oldest section of the great wall, then there is the Kebuqi desert to the south, so there are many places to visit. During winter you can go snowboarding in the mountains and during the summer go for camel rides in the desert, so no matter the time of year there is always something you can find to do. The city is fairly new in terms of Chinese cities, as a result the city if full of wide avenues and lots of parks, the city is the only city in China to have a grassland park (protected by Chinese law) within an urban area. Locals say you are never more than a 10 minute walk away from a park in the city.

We currently have about 500 students and 5 foreign teachers, we are always looking to expand and always looking for new teachers to help with the growth we project. All our teachers hold at the minimum a TEFL certificate and are TKT certified in young learners. We have classes on all days of the week apart from Tuesday, but our offices are still open during that day, our busiest period oft he week is at the weekend as that is when our students are widely available to come.
